New for 2025: 'The Farmhouse'

You heard it here first—we’ve got a brand-new property joining The Yan family! Introducing The Farmhouse—a stunning grade II listed, 3-bedroom (2 with ensuite) Lakeland cottage, sleeping up to 5/6 guests (plus 2 four-legged VIPs, of course), which dates back to circa 1620! 
This is the original farmhouse which has for centuries housed the families that have run the farm, including the last decade for our very own Dave and Sally. 

Expect rustic charm meets Yan luxury, with a cosy log burner, traditional beams, fell views, and plenty of space to stretch out after a long day on the fells. It’s perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves the idea of a private Lake District getaway with just the right amount of Yan home comforts.

We’ll be sharing insider sneak peeks of how the works coming along on our social media, but if you want to be the first to know when bookings go live, just drop us a message and we will add you to the list!

A whole host of extras can be booked ready for your arrival including eggs from our hens, a bottle of Champagne, logs for your wood burner or bags of kindling. Just select your preferences and we’ll have it ready and waiting for you.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is before 10am. The Farmhouse is available for short breaks of 2 nights minimum.
