We are The Yan www.theyan.co.uk - a small, family run ‘bistro with beds’ in Grasmere, Cumbria, the county where food is the focus. Since we opened in July 2019, we have received stellar reviews both from our guests and the national press.
If you think variety is the spice of life then you could be who we are looking for, we're after a couple of team members to make up our close-knit team, full-time, part-time and flexible hours are available. To help us to continue our reputation of delivering excellent food and service and assist us in covering all areas of the business from the front of house, kitchen, and housekeeping to general maintenance.
We like people who are enthusiastic, positive, have a sense of humour, a great work ethic and, above all, are a team player who want to continue to make The Yan a very special place to visit.
We offer excellent rates of pay, with the starting salary of £12 ph, tips/service charge that equate to approximately £4,000pa for full time staff, (100% of tips are equally distributed between all staff). Training (one to one and on the job), staff discount, cracking staff meals. We would also definitely consider those who would want to work part-time/flexi-hours.

Housekeeping

We are The Yan at Broadrayne, a small family run business in Grasmere, Cumbria. We are looking for housekeepers to join our team, in order to help us continue our reputation for delivering high standards of accommodation.
We are offering part time or full-time roles, flexible hours to suit your needs with excellent rates of pay ranging from £12 per hour, these rates will increase if you are self employed. Couple of days a week? Few hours a day? Sociable hours? No weekends? All our properties are in one location. You name it we can oblige!
