Our two bespoke Grasmere Glamping Pods offer the best of both worlds: the excitement of outdoor living combined with all the modern comforts you could wish for. These hand-crafted pods are perfect for a romantic couple’s retreat or a relaxing base for weary walkers after a day on the fells. Perched high on Broadrayne Farm, they enjoy a sunny, elevated position with panoramic views of Helm Crag, surrounded by some of Britain’s finest scenery. With walks starting right from your doorstep, the adventure begins as soon as you step outside.

Cosy Comfort All Year Round

Our fully insulated pods, complete with underfloor heating, are designed for year-round comfort. Step inside to a warm, wood-clad lounge area featuring a comfy sofa, a log-burning stove, a dining table for two, and a Smart LED TV—perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Behind the lounge, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchenette with an oven, induction hob, small fridge, kettle, toaster, and all the crockery and utensils you need for a romantic dinner. Prefer not to cook (you are on holiday, after all)? Our award-winning on-site bistro is here for you, serving breakfast, dinner, and even afternoon tea. You can dine in or have your meal delivered to your pod - talk about luxury!

A Snug Bedroom & Luxurious Touches

At the back of the pod, there’s a cosy bedroom nook with a double bed, crisp white linen, and handy under-bed storage. The ensuite bathroom features a hot shower (thanks to our eco-friendly biomass boiler), a toilet, sink, and a heated towel rail - ideal for warming up after a chilly day on the fells. We also provide fluffy towels and luxurious Pure Lakes toiletries for that extra-special touch.

Modern Conveniences in a Rural Setting

Despite our idyllic location, our Lake District glamping pods come fully equipped with Wi-Fi, 13-amp and USB sockets for your devices, and a Bluetooth music system to set the perfect mood. Outside, there’s a private seating area with a BBQ, overlooking the stunning Helm Crag. And don’t be surprised if a curious Herdwick sheep or two pops over to say hello!

Tailor Your Stay with Extras

Make your stay even more memorable with extras like fresh eggs from our farm, a bottle of Champagne, or logs and kindling for your wood burner, all ready for your arrival. Each pod can accommodate up to two adults and one child (aged 6 and above) using the sofa bed. Crisp white linen is provided for all beds.

Check-in is from 3 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. Please note, our pods are NOT pet-friendly.
