Our four self-catering Grasmere holiday cottages are nestled within a picturesque yard on the converted farm. Which is easy walking distance of the beautiful village of Grasmere, our 17th-century heritage cottages benefit from a sunny elevated position surrounded by some of Britain’s finest scenery. All of them have instant access to several fell and valley walks, making them the perfect base to explore the central Lake District.
We have two, soon to be three, separate 4-star gold self-catering holiday cottages, The Cottage, The Smithy and coming soon we will have The Farmhouse. Alongside two 4-star gold self-catering apartments, The Byre and The Fold, all sympathetically converted from the original farm buildings. We have retained many original features, such as exposed beams but added contemporary touches to each of the cottages, combining elements of old and new to create beautiful spaces with breathtaking views across the Vale of Grasmere. Each property offers you extra space and privacy versus our other accommodation types, providing an extra special ‘home from home’ in the Lakes where you can explore the surrounding areas with ease.
Ranging in size from a two person apartment to a larger four person cottage, we can accommodate the needs of couples, families and even a four-legged family members in three of our properties. No need to worry about losing keys whilst out and about exploring - we have a key code entry system.
Although each of our Lake District cottages is self-catered and comes with a well-equipped kitchen, our fantastic Bistro is a stone’s throw away.
Breakfast, packed lunches and if you fancy a ‘day off’ from the kitchen (we all do once in a while) you can enjoy dinner within our bistro or delivered to your door (yes, you read that correctly). You could even just order a tipple or two, to enjoy in front of the telly! Check out our bistro here.
